Our School team participated in a debate at The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj on the 24th and 25th of November, 2017. The event titled “Behes” saw students from not only the different branches of the host school but also from other well known schools of Delhi.

The event was spread over two days. The preliminary rounds took place on the 24th and the semi finals and finals followed on the 25th of November. There were 16 teams that participated in the preliminary rounds, of which 8 teams proceeded to the semi-finals.

Some of the motions that were debated upon were: This house believes that ‘The Olympic anthem should be changed’, ‘All is fair in love and war’, ‘The tortoise never beats the hare in real life’, ‘ Boys have all the fun and there’s no such thing as a white lie’.

It was a wonderful event and what made it special was that our team stood second overall.
It was a proud moment for us when our students were acknowledged individually too.

Shrey Gogia(X-C) received the bronze medal, Aatif Husain(XI-B) received the silver and Avantika Chodha(XI-D) was awarded the gold medal.

The speakers spoke beautifully and presented their arguments forcefully and consistently.

Congratulations to all the winners.
