Amity International School, Pushp Vihar hosted their 20th inter school economics and commerce event titled ‘ECOM Forum 2017’ on 17 October, 2017. Over 27 schools of Delhi/NCR participated in the competition. The event comprised of two competitions: Symposium and Fintoons which discussed current issues like GST, black money, making rural India global, demonetisation, digitisation, etc.

3 students from our School: Reva Kalra, Khyati Karana and Reet Kohli participated in the events.

Reva and Khyati participated in the Symposium for which they presented a PPT on the topic: MAKE IN INDIA- making rural India global. Reet Kohli participated in the Fintoons event where participants were asked to design posters on the topic- MODINOMICS.

One of our participants, Khyati Karana won the first prize for Best Interjector in the Symposium event.

The competition was a great learning experience for the students and gave them new insights into some recent developments in the Indian economy like demonetisation, the Make in India project etc by showcasing diverse perspectives in an innovative way.

The competition was a memorable one and the students look forward to attending more like these.
