He began recording in his early teens under the name Cheb Khaled. His most famous songs are “Didi“, “Aïcha” and “C’est la vie” as well as “Alech Taadi”.

He is the son and disciple of revolutionary “prodigy-maker” Chitravina Narasimhan.
