Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. -Norman Vincent Peale

The much-awaited festival – Christmas was celebrated with fervour on 23rd December 2016 at School, with a special assembly for classes IV and V organised by class VE in the
auditorium.

The assembly began with a prayer, followed by the thought for the day.

The programme included a skit, ‘The Birth of Jesus – A Christmas Story’ which was a fusion of drama with dance and music. It put togethet eight carols namely – ‘Joy to the World’, ‘Silent Night’, ‘We Three Kings’, ‘Hark the Herald’, ‘Dashing through the Snow’, ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Feliz Navidad’ and ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’, among others, ably accompanied by children on the keyboard and guitar.

Coloured bells, stars, streamers and a brightly dressed Christmas tree adorned the auditorium and the children were in for a great surprise when Santa himself made an appearance to the rush of ‘Jingle Bells’!
