Our school is privileged to be one of the pilot schools of the PEC India programme A collaborative effort of the Government of India with the British Council and Youth Sports Trust who are working on a sport development programme designed to raise awareness and understanding of the impact of physical education on the child. It is an extremely participative and interactive programme, with subject linkages as well, thus actively involving teachers in the ‘games’. Designed for the Primary level it has been successfully implemented in our school in Classes I to V. Learning has become all the more fun as it is now associated with games and has certainly helped the children to release energies, pick up on concentration levels and learn team spirit. ![]() Trying out Kalaripattu ![]() Ansh Gupta with former President Abdul Kalam ![]() We can put up a good fight |
