‘Improve Your Writing’ Programme' July, 2010, by Pre Primary and Pre School
During the Summer Vacation, transcription work was given as homework, connected with the Jataka Tales which they had already done before the holidays. A sample copy of the different letters and patterns were given to all the children, so that they could follow the same. The response was quite good. Children visibly made an effort to write neatly, with correct formations, although they still have a way to go.
As a follow-up programme, a class-wise competition has been organized at all levels, till class X. The 20 best entries from each class will be showcased on the 30 July, 2010 and the best entries, class-wise, will be sent for an ‘All India Handwriting Competition’, organized by All India Citizens Development Centre, Aurangabad.
