Inter House English Declamation Competition : Classes III – IV : 15th Feb 2010
Linda Anderson has rightly said – ‘ Oratory is quickly becoming a lost art. Certainly people talk too much, but true oratory is growing hard to find’
So, the primary section of ‘The Indian School’ Organised an Inter-House English Declamation Competition to give an opportunity to the students to develop their communication skills and their confidence. The topics for the Declamation contest were –
- Common wealth Game – 2010 – a boon for the city and its dwellers.
- Delhites are insensitive.
- Girls are better achiever than boys.
- Computers are more for fun than learning.
The participants spoke confidently, fluently and with conviction. According to our Principal their performance was ‘Stupendous’. The results of the competition were as follows –
