COMPUTER LABS Our school’s commitment to integrating technology into education
We have two well equipped Computer labs for Senior and Junior wings spread over an area of nearly 1000 sq. feet, with 70 fully updated computers.Broadband and MTNL Internet connection is available through network. The audio -visual room with its resourcefacilities has a full sized projection screen to be used for presentation by children, teachers and guest speakers which aid in making the learning experience multi dimensional. Computer Science is an integral part of the Academic Curriculum and is compulsory for students from Class I onwards. NIIT Computer Aided learning syllabus is integrated with the CBSE curriculum. All the teachers are trained to use computers through workshops conducted by NIIT and teachers are able to research, prepare worksheets, lesson plans and question papers. Students are also encouraged to conduct research and create projects through this facility.
MATHEMATICS LAB The school Mathematics lab is a spacious and well ventilated room which welcomes learners of all ages to explore and unravel the mysteries of the world of Mathematics. Handmade projects and activities which stimulate curiosity and encourage logical thinking are on display. NIIT Computer Aided learning syllabus is integrated with the CBSE curriculum. A timetable has been made incorporating one period per week for each class to come to the lab for activities at all level. It is our belief that sooner the children come to understand mathematical concepts; the sooner they will develop an affinity for the subject.
PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY, BIOLOGY, PSYCHOLOGY We have state-of-the-art Science Labs, one each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The labs are equipped with audio-visual (AV) facilities to enable students to stay in touch with the latest developments in science and technology. Our labs have a separate reference section and computerized learning with internet facility. The school is also working on building an integrated Science Activity Centre (SAC) for primary and middle school. A roof-top Botanical Garden is on the agenda. A major Science Exhibition is held by the students each year in August to showcase their discoveries and inventions. It is a culmination of the Science Month.
