The Dr. Amidas Goradia Debate is held in December in memory of the Chairman’s ancestor Dr. Amidas Goradia, the first Indian allopathic doctor to graduate with a gold medal from Bombay University in 1863. The Debate provides a great platform for students to learn the cut and thrust of debate, to pause and parry before driving home an argument. Because of the tremendous enthusiasm it generated, we have now introduced a Hindi debate for classes IV and V. The topics are of national interest and the debate is presided over by a distinguished panel of judges.
