At ‘Chunauti-2020: Open Mic Poetry Competition’ an inter school competition organised online by Apeejay School, Saket on 11 May 2020, Anushka Saxena of XI-A bagged the third position for her self composed poem titled ”Lockdown – A Time of Realisation’. The event drew the participation of as many as 50 students from Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi.
Achievements
- At 'Technovanza 9.0', an inter school IT competition organised by Bal Bharati School, Gangaram Hospital Marg, on 29 November 2023, Aarush Mahajan and Krunal Patel of class XI secured the First Position in the category 'Embellish Dysfunctionality'. Ivaan Rastogi of class III secured the Third Position in the 3D Paint category in which he depicted the culture of Brazil.
- At ‘Manthan 2023′ an inter school competition held online by Birla Divya Jyoti School Siliguri, on 6 and 7 November 23, Manan Kakkar and Ekveer Sahoo (XII) were adjudged First Runners Up in the Multi Format Debate in English. Manan was named Best Speaker whilst Niyati Khurana and Aman Singh Kapoor (XI) and Roopkatha Bandyopadhyay (X) took the First Prize in the English Experimental Short Radio Play. Kanishka Khanna (IX) and Niyati Khurana (XI) won the Second Prize for Whirl: Dance and Yoga Duologue. Niyati Khurana was also shortlisted for Most Promising Performer. Overall, The Indian School team was declared Third Joint Winner of the competition.
