At the 13th B.K. Birla – Sarala Birla Centenary Thought Conclave, an inter-school yoga competition organised online by Sarala Birla School, Pune, on 22 February 2022, Divyanshi Nayak, class VII A, won the award for ‘Best Body and Speech Coordination’.
Achievements
- At ‘Manthan 2023′ an inter school competition held online by Birla Divya Jyoti School Siliguri, on 6 and 7 November 23, Manan Kakkar and Ekveer Sahoo (XII) were adjudged First Runners Up in the Multi Format Debate in English. Manan was named Best Speaker whilst Niyati Khurana and Aman Singh Kapoor (XI) and Roopkatha Bandyopadhyay (X) took the First Prize in the English Experimental Short Radio Play. Kanishka Khanna (IX) and Niyati Khurana (XI) won the Second Prize for Whirl: Dance and Yoga Duologue. Niyati Khurana was also shortlisted for Most Promising Performer. Overall, The Indian School team was declared Third Joint Winner of the competition.
- In an Inter- House Science Quiz held at School on 18 October 2023, Devansh Ahuja and Hridaan Garg of class IVD of Chandra House won the First Position, followed by Aarav Azad and Raza Mujtaba of class IVD of Varun House securing the Second Position. The competition was based on ISRO's past and upcoming space missions, and the leading women scientists of India.
