At the Under-16 Delhi State Selection Camp hosted by Delhi Li’l Cricket League on 27 November 2022 at Gevra, Bahadurpur, Swastik Mishra of class 10 C was named vice-captain for the India-England series. He was also named a right-hand batsman and right-hand spin bowler for the State and the DLCL Sponsorship Trophy 2022.
An all-rounder, Swastik beat competition from almost 2000 aspiring cricket players to find a berth on the Under-16 team to play in the forthcoming 5-day India-England series commencing on 30 December. The team will play 3 ODI and 3 T20I at Sophia Gardens, Wales, England.
