At ‘Vittshala’, an inter school commerce event organised by the Financial Literacy Cell of Shri Ram College of Commerce on 4 September, 2021, Nyonika Katiyar of class 10 won in the event The, ‘The Contenza’ for her content creation entry.
Achievements
- At the District Level Kala Utsav, held on 6 November 2023 at the GGSSS School, Pushp Vihar, Anwesha Dutta (XI D) was awarded the First Prize for Flute Recital for her presentation of Raag Brindavani Sarang and Gaauresh Paul (XI C) won the First Position for Violin Recital for his rendition of Raag Jaijaivanti. Dhairya Saran (XI E) on the tabla and Anush Malik (XI A) on the harmonium provided able accompaniment.
- At ‘Manthan 2023′ an inter school competition held online by Birla Divya Jyoti School Siliguri, on 6 and 7 November 23, Manan Kakkar and Ekveer Sahoo (XII) were adjudged First Runners Up in the Multi Format Debate in English. Manan was named Best Speaker whilst Niyati Khurana and Aman Singh Kapoor (XI) and Roopkatha Bandyopadhyay (X) took the First Prize in the English Experimental Short Radio Play. Kanishka Khanna (IX) and Niyati Khurana (XI) won the Second Prize for Whirl: Dance and Yoga Duologue. Niyati Khurana was also shortlisted for Most Promising Performer. Overall, The Indian School team was declared Third Joint Winner of the competition.
