Honour in inter school Pre primary competition

Folktales are an intrinsic part of social and cultural capital, providing a holistic approach to personality and nation building among children. Based on the theme – ‘Folk Lores- The Tales Untold’, a pre-primary inter school fiesta was hosted by Bal Bharati Public school, Noida on 3 September 2022. The teams were required to choose and present any famous folklore from their state/country and illustrate by embellishing as per the requirement.

Jasmaira Thakral of Pre school Delphini participated in the event, ‘Little Picasso’, an event pertaining to art and craft. She depicted a scene from the life of Lord Krishna using a variety of decorative items such as sequins, studs, stones, origami paper, feathers, buttons, flowers and glitter.

The video of the event was recorded as the child was assembling her creation and was uploaded in time lapse mode on the shared google form. More than 700 students from 61 schools participated in the event and Jasmaira Thakral bagged the Third Position.
