Delhi Public School, Rohini, organised an annual online Inter School Symposium – Vortex 2022 on 23rd and 24th July 2022 comprising of six events, in which our students participated.
Event 1: WARTEX
Sejal Gupta (XI A) represented our school in the ‘ Wartex’, a group discussion’ event. She effortlessly qualified in the prelims from amongst over 40 schools and claimed the Third Position.
Event 2: Math – A – thon
‘Math-a-thon’ was a game-making event where Aaishi Sengupta and Samarth Sovani of class 5C curated the game to win the Third Position.
Event 3: CROSSWORD
Manya Arora (XI-C) and Pranya Sadh (XI-D) participated in the event. The crossword puzzles were full of puns and our students performed it with exuberance.
Event 4: PROBLEM SOLVING
Manan Kakkar (XI-A) and Ashwin Awasthi (XI-B) participated in the event. This competition was aimed at gauging students’ reasoning and aptitude. Our students performed with utmost zeal.
Event 5: SURPRISE EVENT
Dhruv Gupta (XI A) and Uday Soni (XI B) teamed up for the event. The questions in this round were not pertaining to mathematics hence, a ‘surprise event’. Our team exhibited their presence of mind and competed well.
Event 6: EXULT QUIZ
Pratik (IX-D) of our School showcased his prowess to ace the event. The questions were competent and well designed. Pratik offered tough competition to the other contenders.
