Dear Parents,

This is to inform you that Delhi is reporting cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth infection which is a contagious viral ailment wherein the child will have symptoms of fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers and rashes on the palms and soles.

In case your child displays even mild symptoms, kindly keep him/her back at home till he/she recovers adhering to the mandatory quarantine period of 7-10 days. 

This is a necessary precaution to ensure that other students do not catch the infection. At School, adequate measures are being taken in the form of regular sanitisation, fogging and cleaning of the surfaces of tables and chairs etc.
