Dear Team
This is to express our gratitude and joy to see Aadit (3B) on stage performing with his grade on the annual day event. Aadit is just 1 month old in the school but to see all the efforts that the school has made, specially Himani ma’am in integrating him into the class and its activities is very heart warming.
From the chosen theme to the execution, the event was truly wonderful. I agree that at no age are children too young to talk about gender sensitivity and equality and I’m grateful that the school enabled the children to engage in this theme. Aadit came back home with many questions and reflections from the rehearsals about why girls are treated in a different manner than boys and I think you have truly met the purpose you set out to when you decided on the theme.
We are happy to be a part of this progressive universe of the Indian School and hope that the citizenship programme keeps inculcating these value based engagements with children going forward too.
