Animated storytelling session for PS and PP

The Pre School and Pre Primary children of The Indian School enjoyed a delightful storytelling session on 30 October 2025 in the School auditorium. The story, “Ellie the Elephant,” was narrated by the teachers and the session was graced by Head Teacher (Primary), Ms Vandana Tiwari.

Set in the forests of Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand, the story followed Ellie, a gentle elephant who overcame his fear of crossing a nearby river with help from his friends—a monkey, a bird, and an alligator. The lively narration, enhanced by animal sounds and vibrant props, brought the jungle to life.

Children eagerly guessed the next character and shared personal experiences when asked reflective questions. Bhargavi of PS Hercule spoke about her fear of sharks, while Zorawar of PS Kokab recounted his jungle safari adventure. The session beautifully instilled values of courage, friendship, and teamwork through joy and imagination.
