The Indian School organised an educational excursion to the Lotus Temple, New Delhi, on 9th October 2025 to promote experiential learning and instil the values of peace and unity. 170 enthusiastic students of class 1, accompanied by 6 teachers, set out for a day of exploration and discovery.
The Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahá’í House of Worship, is an architectural marvel symbolising purity, harmony, and peace. The children were awestruck by the lotus-shaped structure surrounded by verdant lawns and reflective pools. Inside, representatives of the Bahá’í faith explained that the temple welcomes people of all religions, spreading the message of oneness and universal brotherhood.
Walking through the tranquil surroundings, the students felt a deep sense of calm and respect for all faiths. The enriching visit proved both educational and inspiring—a truly meaningful and memorable experience for all.
