Honour at inter school art competition

Joy is not painted by the brush—it flows from the heart, turning every colour into a celebration of life

The Indian School team participated in the Trishna Art – Canvas Painting Competition hosted by St. Columba’s School on 31 October 2025  as part of Columban Fest 2025. The theme, “Anatomy of Joy,” invited young artists to explore and express the many hues of happiness.

The event challenged participants to interpret an on-the-spot happiness-inspired prompt—such as serenity, unity, or celebration—and present it on an A3 canvas. Working in pairs, students poured their imagination, technique, and emotions into dynamic compositions that reflected joy in its purest form.

Representing The Indian School, Shiksha  Dwivedi ( XI) and Siddhi Solanki ( XII) crafted a vibrant, soul-stirring artwork that resonated deeply with the theme. Their creation stood out for its emotional depth, originality, and artistic finesse—earning them the coveted First Runner's-Up position and immense appreciation from the judges and audience alike.

The competition served as a brilliant platform for young artists to exchange ideas, celebrate individuality, and experience the unifying power of art.

The Indian School applauds Shiksha and Siddhi for their outstanding achievement and extends heartfelt congratulations to all participants for embodying creativity, collaboration, and the true anatomy of joy.
