Honour at inter school science symposium at DPS R K Puram

On 26 April 2025, the students of The Indian School participated in the fourth edition of the prestigious inter-school science symposium, Festival della Scienza 4.0., hosted by Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram. The participating students were accompanied by their teacher, Ms Ayesha Khan. The event brought together students from across the city to engage in thought-provoking scientific challenges, research showcases, and model exhibitions aimed at solving real-world problems through innovation and inquiry.

In the senior category event, 'Soluzione Creativa', participants were invited to develop models or prototypes addressing current issues in the fields of medicine or pollution. Vansh Sharma and Rishietdeep Singh of class 11 secured the Second Prize for their groundbreaking project, 'LungSage', a portable, AI-powered spirometer, leverages ultrasonic sensing and machine learning to detect early signs of lung disease, making it a significant contribution in the fight against pollution-related respiratory illnesses.

The event featured a host of eminent judges who applauded the spirit of scientific thinking among students and commended the collaborative efforts of the Science faculty in curating a truly enriching experience.

The Indian School’s award at Festival della Scienza 4.0 stands as a testament to its commitment to fostering scientific exploration, critical thinking, and innovation among its students. The remarkable achievement of Vansh and Rishietdeep marks a proud milestone for the entire school community and serves as a powerful source of inspiration for aspiring young innovators.
