Honour at zonal inter school drawing competition

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.” – Thomas Merton

At The Indian School, we deeply believe in the power of self-expression and continuously encourage our students to pursue their artistic passions. We are proud to share that two of our talented students—Swarnima Bist of class 9D and Aaishi Sengupta of class 8A participated in the Zonal Drawing Competition held at Green Fields Public School, Safdarjung Enclave on 29 July 2025.

This event was a part of the Zonal Level Cultural Activities and gave participants the freedom to compose an artwork on a topic of their choice. Among the many creative entries, Swarnima Bist stood out, securing the Third Prize for her remarkable portrait of a cheerful woman, notable for the skillfully rendered eyes and detailed features.

We applaud Swarnima for her achievement and commend both participants for showcasing their creativity and talent on such a prestigious platform.
