Inter-House Storytelling Competition in class VI

"Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world — it turns imagination into connection and words into wonder."

On 16th May 2025,The  Indian  School Auditorium buzzed with excitement as class 6 gathered for a much-awaited Inter-House Storytelling Competition. The atmosphere was electric with imagination and enthusiasm as young storytellers took to the stage, each bringing
a tale to life with flair and passion.

Participants had the choice to weave their stories around one of three inspiring themes — Fairy Tales with a Twist, Overcoming Challenges, or The Power of Kindness. Armed with well-prepared narratives, crafted at home, and supported by vibrant props and charming costumes, the performers captivated the audience. Every story echoed creativity, confidence, and a deep love for storytelling, making the event a celebration of young voices and vivid imaginations.
Our esteemed judges, Ms Vandana Tewari and Ms Navneet Shergill evaluated the participants based on parameters such as story content, expression, clarity and the use of props/costumes.

The following students took part in the competition.
Chandra House: Aaradhya Nagar and Titiksha Rajpure (VI B)
Indra House: Myra Wason and Naina Sharma (VI E)
Surya House: Evantika (VI E) and Sanchay (VI D)
Varun House:  Saiyan Nagpal and Prisha Mishra  (VI A)

After a delightful round of storytelling, the winners were announced. While the First Position was secured by Saiyan Nagpal (Varun House), Myra Wason (Indra House) took the Second Position and Naina Sharma (Indra House) took the Third Position.

A sparkling highlight of the event was the lively and charismatic Master of Ceremonies, Aarav Arora, whose enthusiasm kept the audience entertained and the event flowing smoothly. Adding to the magic were our esteemed judges, who not only appreciated the heartfelt efforts of each participant but also offered thoughtful feedback and words of encouragement that lit up young minds. Their guidance added depth to the experience, helping students grow as storytellers.

The Inter-House Storytelling Competition turned out to be a resounding success — a vibrant celebration of creativity, courage, and compassion. With tales of twisted fairy tales, triumph over trials, and acts of kindness, the event left everyone inspired and reminded us all of the extraordinary power of stories.
