Light making workshop at Diwali for classes 4 and 5
A creative and festive T-Light Holder Making Workshop was organised for classes IV and V on 18 October 2025 as part of the Diwali craft celebrations. The session was conducted by Ms Rajni Jain whose expertise and interactive approach kept the young crafters thoroughly engaged.
The workshop aimed to inspire imaginative expression while deepening the children’s connection with the spirit of Diwali. Students were provided with a wide range of materials, including Rangeela metallic colours, Fevi Stick Power, mirrors, brushes, water bowls, waste cloth pieces and newspapers, encouraging them to experiment freely with design and decoration.
Ms Jain demonstrated each technique with patience and clarity, guiding the students as they transformed simple holders into vibrant pieces of festive décor. The children participated enthusiastically, exploring the play of colours and mirror work with great excitement.
The activity promoted creativity, confidence and mindful reuse of materials. The dazzling T-light holders, crafted with pride and joy, added a beautiful festive glow to the classrooms, perfectly capturing the essence of Diwali.
Overall, the workshop was an enjoyable, enriching and memorable experience for every student.
