Primary Level Recognition Day 202425
“Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.”
On 9 May 2025, the Foundation Hall of The Indian School resonated with applause, pride, and joy as School celebrated Recognition Day for the academic year 2024–25. The occasion was a heartfelt tribute to the hard work, dedication, and all-round excellence of our young learners from Nursery to class V.
The ceremony honoured achievements across scholastics, co-scholastics, and sports, shining a spotlight on students who have shown remarkable commitment and growth through the year. From academic excellence to creative pursuits and sporting spirit, every achievement was met with applause.
The stage became the platform of pride as students were felicitated for their outstanding efforts. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, motivation, and inspiration—as parents and teachers celebrated not just the awards, but the journeys behind them. Recognition Day was more than an event; it was a celebration of effort, perseverance, and potential—a reminder that every step forward, no matter how small, leads to success.
The ceremony was graced by the proud parents of the awardees, along with distinguished guests including Chairperson of the Managing Committee Ms Brinda Goradia Shroff, Principal Ms Tania Joshi, Vice-Principal Dr Anu Singh, Head Teacher – Primary Ms Vandana Tewari, Vice-President of the PTA Ms Tina Kapoor, and other PTA members.
The programme began with a warm welcome by Myra Wason (6 E) and Kushan Bijlani (6 E). A motivational performance by the School choir set an inspiring tone for the morning. Principal Ms Joshi then addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of recognising young talent and nurturing it through a collaborative effort involving teachers, parents, and the School community.
Student achievers were felicitated for their exceptional accomplishments in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Each student was invited on stage to receive his or her award, with the audience applauding the commitment and perseverance.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Shreyansh Sarangi (6 C), who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event. The ceremony concluded with a collective rendition of the national anthem, poignantly integrated, as an expression of unity and patriotism.
Recognition Day proved to be an inspiring celebration, reinforcing the value of hard work and motivating the students to aim for greater achievements. The event was a fitting tribute to the spirit of excellence that defines our School, and the jubilant winners returned home with not only awards but also cherished memories of a truly remarkable day.
