As part of our newly launched initiative Rang Bharat Ke: A State Story Each Month, School celebrated the rich culture and heritage of Punjab under the theme “Vibrance in every beat, flavour in every bite — Celebrating the spirit of Punjab!”
Through a series of thoughtfully designed activities, students across all classes engaged with Punjab’s traditions, history, and contributions. Younger students explored the state through storytelling, traditional attire parades, and creative crafts, while middle school learners participated in dance performances, role plays, and presentations on Punjab’s rivers, festivals, and art forms.
In the secondary section, students explored Punjabi literature, created artworks, discussed the Green Revolution, and reflected on historical events like the Partition.
Senior secondary students created video tributes to sports icons and debated the impact of modern music on traditional culture. A virtual tour of the Partition Museum provided further insight into Punjab’s historical journey.
The celebration concluded with a special assembly and documentation of all activities. The month-long engagement offered students a meaningful opportunity to deepen their cultural understanding and appreciation for India’s diversity.
