Workshop for classes 9-11 on awareness about drug abuse

On 24 April 2026, The Indian School organised an impactful workshop, "Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life," for the students of Classes IX and XI. The session aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage students to make responsible and informed life choices.

The workshop was conducted by Inspector Jagrup Singh. Drawing from his experience, he sensitised the students to the severe physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse. He also emphasised how peer pressure can influence adolescents to make poor decisions and urged them to develop strong values, self-discipline, and the courage to make the right choices. Our Principal, along with our teachers were also present, demonstrating their support and reinforcing the initiative's importance. The session was interactive and engaging, with students listening attentively and participating in discussions.

The programme concluded with an Anti-Drug Pledge, where the students solemnly pledged to stay away from drugs, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and spread awareness among their peers and the community.
