Inter school Sanskrit competition

To celebrate the diversity of language, an inter school competition titled, “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” was held by K.R. Mangalam World School on October  28, 2022. Events engaging the participants with different languages was an enriching opportunity for the latter. Competitions in German, Spanish, Japanese and French were curated by the host school.

Pragyan (IX), Abhineet (IX), Snigdha (VII),  Simar (IV), Vasudev (IV) and Nitai (IV) enthusiastically participated in the Sanskrit ‘Geet Gayan’ competition wherein they performed with skill and application.

Shri Tilak Chandra Shastri, acharya at the Manjhavali Gurukul, Faridabad graced the programme as judge for the day. In his address he enlightened the assembly about the vital role of language in keeping cultures alive. He reiterated that programmes such as this, offer the opportunity to children to develop strong language skills and healthy cultural identities

It was an enriching experience for the students. The exposure to varied languages was an invaluable introduction to their diversity.
