The teachers of The Indian School assembled in the School auditorium on 24 January, 2020 at 11 am to take the Voter’s Pledge. Members of the administration also took time off their schedule and joined the staff.
The pledge served as a reminder to people in common to uphold the democratic traditions of our country by casting their precious votes in the upcoming elections. Each one promised to take part in a free, fair and peaceful election without being influenced by considerations of religion, race, caste, community or language.
Even though the pledge was taken as a directive of the government, it nevertheless reinforced in us an abiding faith in our democracy.
