On 31 October 2023, a Zonal Football Tournament was held at Birla Vidhya Niketan, Pushp Vihar. Nine schools participated in this tournament. The Sub-Junior Girls team of The Indian School secured the Second Position in Zone 23 defeating the team from Amity International School, Saket, in the Semi-Finals by 1-0 and entering into the finals against the team from The Mother’s International School. The winning goal was scored by Emilia Ghanbari of VIII B.
The Indian School team comprised of sixteen players. They were accompanied by their teachers, Mr Suraj Bhakuni and Ms Shabina. The names of the team members are as follows:

The match proved to be an excellent and incredible learning experience. The excitement and anticipation before the match, the physical intensity and skill displayed by the players during the game, and the emotions and reactions of the crowd and players after the outcome of the match is determined, are all part of what makes a football match so thrilling.
