Shanzay Hayat of Class III A represented Delhi at the 37th National Under-9 Girls Chess Championship, organised under the aegis of the All-India Chess Federation and supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, held from 27th December 2024 to 2nd January 2025 at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. 

In the Under-9 Girls’ Category of the 4th Matrix Cup Open International FIDE Rating Chess Tournament, held from 3rd to 7th January 2025 at Abhinav Global School, Sector 13, Rohini, Shanzay Hayat of class III A secured the First Position and was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 3,000.

In the Under-11 Girls’ Category of the 2nd Raina Ghaziabad Open Chess Tournament, held on 25th January 2025 at Raina Academy, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad, Shanzay Hayat of class III A secured the Third Position.
