Santoormaestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma(born 13 January 1938)Jammu, is one of the most famous classical musicians of India. He was also awarded with theSangeet Natak Akademi Award, thePadma Shriand thePadma Vibhushan. Pandit Jasraj was born in Village Pili Mandori in erstwhile Hisar district of Haryana (now Fatehabad district) in a middle-class family to Motiram, a Hindustani classical singer, on 28 January 1930. Amongst many awards to his credit Pandit Jasraj was awarded with the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award and the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award.
