Italy-Switzerland-Germany 9N 11D (#5028A) www.edterra.com

This journey to Italy, Switzerland and Germany provides an ideal window for students to experience the best of history, natural beauty and modernity that Europe, as a continent, has to offer to the world.

Germany is truly a phoenix among nations. It has twice risen from the ashes, as it were, to emerge as Europes dominant power. From efficient metropolitan cities to small picture-postcard towns, from huge industrial plants to fairytale castles, this soccer-crazy nation with the some of the best fast cars is a showcase of how processes and systems can translate into lasting power and values.

Scenic Switzerland brings to fore the majesty of Mother Nature in its exuberance and abundance; from rolling green hills to mighty snow-covered mountains, this nation is also an inspiration for all to witness how a tiny land-locked nation can become wealthy by creating category-defining products. Be they Swiss chocolates or Swiss jeweller- watches, Swiss banks and Swiss culinary colleges, each defines quality that the world aspires to emulate.

Italy, a land of timeless beauty, history, art and architecture has witnessed the rise and fall of many empires. Its rich history, spanning centuries, is stored and reflected in myriad ways; from the serene canals of Venice to the Coliseum of Rome, from the inspiring Sistine Chapel of the Vatican to the cradle of Renaissance Florence.
