An Excursion to Waste to Wonder Park for Class VIII

Subject Linkage: Social Science, Science, Art and Craft

Objective: To enlighten and sensitise students of the need to recycle waste and to harness renewable natural resources for the production of electricity.

The Park features replicas of the iconic Seven Wonders of the World. The sculptures are created from industrial and other waste, mostly discarded automobile parts, broken metal utensils and pipes. The SDMC has harnessed wind and solar power to light up the park.

Transportation Cost - Rs 150 (approx. 30 students per section)

Entry Fee - Rs 50 per person

Total cost - Rs 200
