We have received a feedback from some parents expressing their concern regarding a minor short circuit on the front end of the terrace of the School building.
We would like to clarify for the benefit of all parents, that the short circuit occurred near the solar panel in an open area and no student has any access to that area.
On noticing the smoke, the same was immediately put out with help of the handy fire extinguishers stationed nearby.
As a precautionary measure, students were asked to vacate the classroom.
Please rest assured that the School building is installed with a comprehensive fire safety system including extensive hose pipes, sprinklers and extinguishers, as advised by the fire department.
Regular fire safety drills are also conducted with one being held as recently as on 1 May 2018.
