An excursion to the RANTHAMBORE TIGER RESERVE

03 NIGHTS / 04 DAYS ( 1 to 4 JANUARY, 2014)

Ranthambore was established as a sanctuary in 1955 under Project Tiger in 1973 and was declared a National Park in 1980. It is surrounded by the Vindhyas and the Aravalis. The herbivorous population includes the chital, sambar, blue bull and the chinkara. The sambar deer, the largest of all Asiatic deer, is the pride of the park. Wild boars and langurs are a common sight. Among reptiles, crocodiles can be seen basking in the sun near the lakes. The tiger is the biggest attraction of this park.
