ITIHAAS- Summer Heritage Programme-2026
Dear Sir/Ma’am,
Warm greetings from ITIHAAS!
We are delighted to introduce our Summer Heritage Programmes 2026. This year, we are offering three thoughtfully curated programmes for different age groups to provide immersive, real-world learning beyond the classroom under the close and continuous guidance of ITIHAAS mentors.
With registrations closing soon, we are set to begin with our National Gandhi Museum Programme scheduled from 24th to 31st May 2026—an exceptional opportunity for students to learn history through the lens of one of the most important personalities of our nation and others, in one of the oldest museums in the country.
1. National Gandhi Museum Programme (Grades IV–VIII | 24–31 May)
Students will explore the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi while developing sensitivity towards family and community, and understanding values such as discipline, empathy, and dignity of labour.
The programme also encourages self-reliance through hands-on activities, reflection, and a final gallery presentation, making it a deeply meaningful learning experience.
2. Ali Naqvi – Judiciary Programme (Grades IX–XII | 26–30 May)
Students will engage with the real workings of the justice system through visits to courts, police stations, Studio Safdar, and Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya.
This programme builds critical thinking and awareness, helping students explore potential career pathways and gain exposure to judicial spaces that are typically only available to university students. Offering this level of access at the school stage makes it a highly competitive and enriching opportunity, especially for students considering careers in law, political science, and public policy.
3. National Museum Programme (Grades X–XII | 7–14 June)
Students will dive into the fascinating world of museums—learning to curate, conserve, and tell stories through heritage, in the most important museum in the country.
Working alongside experts, they will create projects and gain practical exposure to careers in museology and heritage fields. This level of hands-on museum experience is an excellent opportunity for students to take an early and confident step towards building meaningful career pathways.
As seats are limited and filling quickly, we encourage you to complete registrations at the earliest to secure your students' participation. Applications are open to all.
