As a journalist I have covered a lot of events related to schools, students and educational celebrations but believe me this was the most emotional and most enjoyableannualevent of my life so far... because recently in 'The Indian School I saw a version of my childhood inAnnualDay. How emotional the 'function' was I will put it this way that I can see my child's character in my daughter's character of 'Misheeta and others student.

May mail came to you late due to my recent assignments on G20 and others.

I would like to congratulate you and thank you very much for the beautiful performance by all the students on theannualdayand lovely organisation and performance theme.

Definitely; All in all the performance was spectacular and undoubtedly the preparation and performance by the children was great. In particular I like the most "Na Kato Mujhe Dukhta Hai."

I wish you a bright future and request you to regularly organise programs for social causes keeping in mind the development of children.

As we have experienced the very first event for our child Mivaan Grover (Kokab) at The Indian School, here I would like to share our take away from the event.

Firstly I would like to appreciate the idea to engage almost all the students in some way or other, surely this engagement will bring more to them rather than sitting as spectators.

School management deserves the applause for smooth execution and rigorous participation.

Time management is something I wouldn't miss to highlight, Being on time to start/finish shows mere discipline and respect for others' time as well.

It had such well-connected threads of Learning, Moral Values and Social message which made it absolutely special.

The event was a great success and we enjoyed every bit of it. Little kids were looking awesome and amazing and made us feel joining them in every act they performed.

A big Thank you for putting up such a great show. We were awestruck by the performance and connection kids shared with you all. Hats off to the hard work that teachers have put in with the little ones.

At the end I would like to thank Ms. Simran Kaur and Ms. Radhika for bringing the best in my son.

Feedback- Pre-Primary Annual Day 2023 - Tina Kapoor

Respected Tania Maam,

We all witnessed a Grand and Magnificent Annual Day that was conceptualised and delivered to perfection on 25th February 2023. The enthusiasm of our Pre-Primary children was contagious, and everyone was mesmerised by the way our young and talented children performed in front of their parents, teachers, school principal and management.

The grand decorations including the entrance, usage of energetic colours and themes, beautiful and well-thought events with carefully designed costumes made the event and the entire venue magical.

The post event celebrations were loved by all. The carnival for children with balloons, wind mills, mouth-watering snacks, musical chairs and various peer-to-peer interactions created a light-hearted, warm and welcoming environment. Parents, Teachers and Children were all seen enjoying every single moment.

It is also pertinent to mention that while the Annual Day was a great hit with all, it couldnt have been possible without the vison and hard-work of all the teachers, yours , Head Teacher and the schools management support.

On behalf of the parents, children and the PTA we congratulate the school conceptualising and delivering an out-standing and unparalleled Pre-Primary Annual Day. We look forward for many more celebrations like these in coming years !!

Dear All,

The annual day celebration held recently in school grounds was aptly vibrant and a pleasure to the eyes.

The opening of the gala event with musical instruments, the song sequence and every other act performed was so catchy....We could see the children enjoying the whole event. The props, the costumes, the accessories for children...you name it -everything kept there was so meaningful and captured the essence of "preserving mother earth" aptly.

The after function games, goodie packs, eatbles... everything was a great way to celebrate a spring afternoon.

Being a parent to a class 3 and a nursery student makes me very happy and confident that my child is getting the right exposure to be nurtured into a well informed person.

Most importantly, the immense patience and love the teachers display for ALL kids, is very heartwarming....an incident really caught my attention.. when a child was supposed to go backstage as a wood cutter but he started enjoying being on the stage with his friends....Deepti maam, took him away without any anger or punishment--- it is pure joy to witness that kids are allowed to make mistakes and are taught with much love & respect.

We are highly indebted to Simran ma'am+ Radhika ma'am (nursery) for how they help children...and of course Deepti maam and others.

Proud to be an Indianite under Tanya's ma'am's tutelage.

First of all, we heartily congratulate you on the beautiful and warm Annual Day. After one year of online teaching in Preschool , we never imagined that everything could be so normal in school, including the Annual Day. This was their first performance, so excited my child Aariz was! The entire February he came to school regularly and used to narrate the entire story of his annual day. When I entered the school, it looked like a Jungle Safari. The campus was majorly covered with luscious green and blue colours. The aquatic animals on the threshold of the stage looked astonishing. Each and every artwork looked splendid. All the performances, including the play "Circle of Life, Tree dance and band were magnificent. We couldn't attend the games because of an emergency at home. Hope to have many more like this.

This time the fabric of the costume was very good.

Congratulations on delivering an impeccable pre-primary annual day. It was a delight watching such small kids perform so well on the theme of Circle of Life. The hard work of teachers and support staff, along with that of the children was very clearly visible in the multiple performances.

1. The entire setup, including costumes, props, decorations, music and arrangements for guests and parents was brilliant
2. The energy and excitement of teachers in guiding children during the performances was also quite commendable
3. Both the annual days (I was a part of the one for Class 1-12 as well, as my son participated) display the school's commitment in making it a well rounded learning institute rather than just an academic one
4. The fact that everything was made using recycled material is a true representation of the school's commitment towards saving our precious environment

Hi Ma'am,

I am Rachna Chopra, mother of Kaira Chopra, a student of PS Delphini. Thanks for giving us such a memorable experience to watch our kids performing on the stage. Everything looked very well planned to me. I was amazed to see the safety and security arrangement for kids. Anchors, we're so confident, in must be appreciated first. Then, the way performances were arranged linked to each other connected to a story and beautiful dresses their combination on the stage. Earlier I was confused to see white socks, that is why white socks but when I saw the white stage, I got it at the same moment. The cave was so beautiful, with mushrooms and penguins, plants and the stage everything was perfect. The way teachers were managing everything. A lot of respect for all the teachers for the patience they keep all the time with so many kids. Applause to the team for giving us an amazing experience. Looking at these little tots perform couldn't stop my tears from rolling down. It was a pleasure to attend the annual day functions. Thanks to all of you.

Feedback on the Annual Function Conducted on 25th Feb, 2023 - Biswapriya Misra

Dear Sir, Madam,

I am extremely delighted to convey my heartfelt congratulations to the entire school administration and the teachers, staff, student volunteers for conducting such an EXCELLENT, well organized Annual Function for the Indian School students. I am the father of Mr. Adidev Misra, a pupil in your pre-primary class (Merak) where he participated at the event too.

Some of my thoughts are as follows:

1. The theme around saving Mother Nature, waste recycling, and environmental protectionism is a very poignant, emotional and relatable concept and was amazingly executed by your team of organizers. Being a scientist and at accompany where we harness medicinal superpowers from Nature and green plants, I found the immediate connect.
2. The choice of thematic songs fitting into the cultural event was equally impressive.
3. I did appreciate the Principal Madam's stance on photography and it's a pity that many many parents did not oblige. We personally appreciated the "edutainment"/ "infotainment" concept at school.
4. I could clearly gauge the hard work the class Teachers must have put to bring this gala dance and music event into a reality.
5. The best part was a personal 1:1 meet for Adi's parents, Adi and Deepti Madam, who found a minute to find us and share greetings. This was an excellent kind and memorable little act of kindness that goes miles. Glad to have our son in her class where on top of the education he is receiving, we must acknowledge the "care" and appreciation he would be receiving too.
6. Not to mention, above all the food on offer via the canteen and the vendors were so delicious, nutritional and healthy- less junky/ oil/ unhealthy components.
7. The playground available for kids to play and mingle was super helpful as well.
8. I must take a moment of pause, to really really appreciate the background hard work that all the teachers have must put together to train these juveniles to produce those magnificent moments of artistic display that we all enjoyed as parents!
9. I would like to see a longer duration of the event as well!
10. A parent to parent interaction session facilitated by the school authorities, and kind teachers would be super helpful too!!Will wait for the photographs and the videos from the event too!!!
