On the chilly winter morning of 13 December 2014, 11 students of classes 7 to 12 along with four teachers and our Principal Ms. Tania Joshi, made our way to the India Habitat Centre to attend a concert by renowned Hindustani Classical Vocalist Smt. Shubha Mudgal. The amphitheatre was host to the event. The open atmosphere allowed sounds of nature to merge with the efficacious rendition of the ragas. The performance included morning ragas like the Basant Mukhari and the Devgiri Bilawal followed by a thumri in Raga Bhairavi. Ms. Mudgal's soulful singing wafted in the open theatre elevating the ambience. It was indeed an unforgettable experience and both students and teachers look forward to attend more such events in the future to truly experience Hindustani classical music.
