A test of the mathematical mind

Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding.

A team of 8 budding mathematicians from classes 6, 9 and 11 participated in MATHABILITY, a written math competition, at Gyan Bharati School on 30 July 2022. Several prominent schools from Delhi-NCR also participated in this event.

The participants had to solve 50 multiple choice questions of 2 marks each in two hours. There was a negative marking for every incorrect response.

It was quite a fascinating experience as the participants engaged with several questions that challenged their mathematical skills and aptitude.

Participation in this event provided a barometer to assess the understanding capacity of students with the help of their Conceptual Knowledge.
