Our School participated in the annual event Access (computer symposium) at Modern School, Barakhamba Road on 16th December 2016,
The event saw the participation of almost 90 schools from across Delhi and the NCR like DPS RK Puram, DPS Vasant Kunj, DPS Rohini, DPS NOIDA, Shri Venkateshwara International School Dwarka, Modern School Vasant Vihar, Modern School Kundli, Springdales Dhaulakaun and Modern Convent School Dwarka, to name a few.
In the 28th year of this event, Rajeev Makhni, an IT person, famously known as Tech Guru, was amongst the jury. The event started with a talk on the evolution of technology, and how we have moved from rotary landlines to marshmallow smart phones. An interactive session followed with Mr. Makhni.
CADET QUIZ: The cadet quiz was held for classes 5 and below. Uday Soni and Vatsal Kukreti of VB participated in this event. The written round composed of 20 multiple choice questions. TECH TALK: This was a group discussion where the topic was disclosed on the spot. Gitansh Satija of class X took part in this. Various topics such as, Artificial intelligence in defence and ministry arsenal is a recipe for disaster and 'E commerce can never lead to the extinction of corner stores, were among those given to the students a few minutes prior to the start of the event. Gitansh was among the top 10 finalists.
