On October 17, 2023, a prestigious annual inter-school IT symposium, AEON 5.0. was held at our School, initiated and organised by T.I.M.E – The Indianites Media Experts, the computer club of our School. The chief guest on the occasion was Mr Saket Modi, CEO of Safe Security, specialist in Cybersecurity and Digital Business Risk Quantification.
The proceedings commenced with a thought-provoking address by the chief guest, followed by an insightful question- answer session wherein students had the privilege to pose queries to the eminent guest. The event continued with a brief introduction of the events and a warm welcome to the judges. Subsequently, the students and teachers present took a solemn pledge to show their commitment to prevent child marriage. The event saw an overwhelming participation from over 20 prominent schools of Delhi/NCR. The students participated in various online and offline events as described below.
AEON HACKATHON
In this event, students offered creative solutions to everyday real-life challenges, demonstrating their product concepts and business models. This was followed by an interactive question-answer session that revolved around the event's theme, 'Daily Tech'.

AEON CODE CRUSADE

AEON WEB WIZ
AEON WebWiz was an engaging offline event that witnessed active participation in the design and development of websites. The central theme for web creation was the Sustainable Development Goals, making it a truly innovative and timed exercise in digital creativity and problem-solving.

AEON GD
The event featured the participants exchanging views on the topic 'Pervasive technology is creating a generation of cyber junkies’ ( preliminary round) and 'If Bitcoin crashes to zero...' (final round). The competition aimed to enhance learning in both affective and cognitive domains.

AEON DESIGN
This event successfully brought together creative minds, designers, and professionals. The event comprised two rounds: the preliminary round was conducted online and featured prompts such as 'metamorphosis,' 'monochrome,' and 'digital renaissance.' The final round took place offline and was based on the malaise of society. Additionally, finalists were required to submit a write-up about their work. The event concluded with a question-and-answer round.

AEON ARCADE
Arcade truly showcased the participants' deep-rooted love for gaming. Their dedication to following the rules, the intensity of their gameplay, and their embrace of sportsmanship demonstrated their commitment to the event. The event was the perfect amalgamation of thrill, excitement, and competitiveness.

AEON SURPRISE
AEON Surprise was an online event comprising five rounds. Participants conducted technical analysis of stocks and answered questions related to the topic for bonus shares in between the rounds.

AEON FRAME FORGE
Frame Forge was an online filmmaking event. The students curated a movie and showed their creative talent. The theme for the movie was ‘Circus of Illusions’.
