An interaction with a successful alumnus, Hardik Wadhwa.

"Success is a sum of efforts, repeated day in and day out."

Hardik Wadhwa, alumnus, The Indian School, batch 2011-12, is our role model. Highly regarded by his professors, teachers and even the student community at large, it was wonderful to have a chance to meet and interact with him on 28th May, 2015 in the School auditorium. Hardik Wadhwa scored a 98 percent in the CBSE Board Exam and was the topper of his year. He then went on to do Economics(Hons) from the country's premier Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University. Thereafter he topped the CAT, scoring a staggering 99.72 percentile! We are told that he is also the only student from SRCC, to have aced CAT this year to enter IIM, Ahmedabad. Naturally his presence inspires us to persist for nothing short of excellence.

The talk commenced with a welcome by Ms. Pooja Bahl, Head of Department, Commerce. Quiet and unassuming by nature, Hardik then, spoke on how he thinks that remaining steadfast to his goals with focus helped him reach his goal. He spoke with examples of events and choices he made as he went along. Hardik also happily answered our questions. He shared tips on how to crack the board examinations as also problems that he faced as a student and how they can be possibly overcome. He emphasised on the importance of study routines and consistency. On behalf of School, we wished him heartily. His tips were invaluable too. Mehar Kaur, XII-B.
