Annual Adventure Camp for Classes 1 and 2

The adventure camp, for classes 1 and 2, on 22 March 2023 was a befitting conclusion to the action-packed academic schedule of the year. Set up on the School playground from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the camp was attended by almost 318 energetic students.

The adventure camp aimed to set up team-building activities to encourage groups to work together and communicate.

The students arrived with a brewing excitement to participate in different activities that enhanced their gross motor skills. The School backfield echoed joyfully as the enthusiastic children traversed from one exciting activity to another under the watchful direction of Mr Rakesh Beniwal and his expert team members.

All children were allowed to experience each activity, including adventures like the commando net, commando crawl, parallel rope walking, ladder climbing, balancing beam, trampoline, tyre wall, Australian trolley, Burma bridge, Bhool Bhulaiya, river crossing, hamster wheel, dragon move, etc. Every activity was aimed at honing different skills in the students. Trampoline and commando crawl were the hot favourites of students.

The day camp offered a positive and safe environment where the children could gain confidence and self-esteem. In addition, this camp helped them develop fundamental athletic skills such as balancing, coordination, team spirit, risk-taking, and collaboration.

The students engaged in a joyful experience of learning in fun.
