Annual Adventure Camp for Pre school and Pre primary
To break the monotony of routine and rejuvenate the students with fresh energy, an annual Adventure Camp was organised for Pre school and Pre primary at School on 13 March, 2025. The camp aimed to introduce young learners to physical challenges that foster teamwork, confidence, and coordination, all within a safe and engaging environment.
The one-day camp provided a structured yet enjoyable setting for the children to develop self-esteem and resilience. A total of 166 students, accompanied by 15 teachers, embarked on this exciting journey in great enthusiasm. Upon reaching the camp area, the students were divided into small groups, each assigned a trained guide to ensure smooth coordination and safety.
The trainers and facilitators had meticulously planned a range of sporting and adventure activities designed to enhance motor skills, courage, and balance. The children actively participated in thrilling activities such as Artificial River Crossing, Zip lining, Balance Beam, Burma Bridge, Commando Net, and Ladder Climbing. Each activity was thoughtfully planned to help children develop different skills—for instance, Artificial River Crossing encouraged them to overcome fear, while the Burma Bridge, Balance Beam, and Commando Net improved their balance and coordination. Crawling through a tunnel like a soldier instilled a sense of triumph and adventure. Jumping on a trampoline helped strengthen their core, leg muscles, and overall motor coordination.
All the activities were conducted under the supervision of trained instructors and class teachers, ensuring that all safety measures were diligently followed. The children also enjoyed delicious refreshments with their classmates, adding to the joy of the day. One of the most exciting moments was the spirited game of ‘Tug of War’ between the classes, which truly enthralled the kids.
The camp may be over, but the adventures the kids experienced are just the beginning of a lifetime of excitement. Adventure awaits, and every step leads to unforgettable memories—let's keep exploring, growing, and having fun.
