The Annual Inter School Garden Festival, hosted by Cambridge School, Srinivaspuri on 2nd February 2024, attracted the participation of 10 schools. The festival aimed to celebrate nature’s beauty and foster environmental awareness and education. Senior Biology teacher, Ms Suman Aswal, led a group of enthusiastic students to participate in the various activities. Among them were Gautam of class VIII B and Adya Rai of VIII A, who demonstrated their botanical knowledge in the garden quiz. The quiz featured images of various plants and written questions related to hydroponics and horticulture, engaging participants in a comprehensive exploration of plant knowledge. Their impressive performance secured them the First Position.
In a vibrant display of creativity in another segment of the festival, students of class VI B, Sreyanshi Chowdhury and Raghavi Sharma curated a visually stunning arrangement of herbal and air purifier plants. Their presentation not only encapsulated the festival’s essence but also earned them applause from the attendees. The culmination of these achievements led to The Indian School clinching the coveted Overall Rolling Trophy.
The event provided a unique opportunity for students to connect with nature and enhance their understanding of the environment. The Annual Inter School Garden Festival 2024 will be remembered as a successful showcase of talent, knowledge, and commitment to promoting green initiatives.
