Dr Amidas Goradia Memorial Badminton Tournament 2026

The Dr Amidas Goradia Memorial Badminton Tournament 2026 was organised in great zeal and sporting vigour from 10 to 13 August 2026 for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The four-day event aimed to foster healthy competition, enhance tactical acumen, and give young shuttlers a platform to showcase their physical fitness and sporting spirit. The tournament witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of approximately 130 participants, featuring spirited representation from both The Indian School and The Indian School – Second Shift.

Throughout the fixtures, the young athletes exhibited commendable agility, quick reflexes, seamless court coverage, and endurance. The doubles and mixed doubles events were particularly instrumental in sharpening the players’ communication, spatial awareness, and strategic coordination under competitive pressure. Beyond technical execution, the participants demonstrated core sporting virtues, including discipline, perseverance, mutual respect, and fair play, applying the practical techniques honed during their physical education sessions.

The tournament concluded on a triumphant note, serving as an enriching competitive platform that reinforced self-confidence, teamwork, and athletic excellence. The spirited participation and high standards of play reflected the burgeoning sports culture and dedication of the students across Classes VI to VIII.
