Ten primary school students of our School participated in the Une Fete Annuele 2016, an art workshop held at the Mongrace Montessori House in Vasant Vihar on 21st October 2016.
The event commenced with Principal Kamini Hola introducing the audience to the significance of the fete, and inviting the young artists to light the ceremonial lamp.
[gallery link="file"]Participating students were then divided into groups. Each group was placed under the guidance of a celebrated artist. The artist was required to orient the students in his/ her style. There were two age groups, 5-7 years and 8-10 years. Our children participated in both categories. Each child painted under the guidance of their leader artist. The paintings were then labelled with the childs and the artists name.
The three best entries from group 1 and group 2 were awarded a certificate of honour and a prize. Md. Sehbaaan (2C) and Geet Chauhan (4D) of our School were awarded a certificate of honour. In fact our children were specially appreciated for the creativity they brought to their work.
All participants were given a certificate of participation and a small gift containing a box of poster colours.
