Art competition to build awareness

The Indian School participated in an inter- school painting festival organised by Springdales School, Pusa Road on 3 February 2023. The event witnessed participation from around 15 schools of Delhi and NCR. A team of 6 talented students from our school participated in 3 categories and showcased their talent and creativity through art.
The competition was divided into 3 categories.
Age Group- 5 to 8 years

The topics were:
1. Technology for Peace
2. Give Peace a Chance
3. Let Peace Prevail
4. A World without Boundaries
5. My Dream-A Sustainable Planet
6. The World is a Family
7. A Monument of Peace
8. International Peace and Security
The event aimed to bring out creative expression and the artistic skills of the students and also to gauge their level of general awareness. Besides this, the aim of this competition was not merely to judge the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the students and sensitize them about the above-mentioned subjects.
The competition kept the students engaged. The students exuded confidence as their colourful strokes brought their beautiful thoughts and ideas to life on paper. The competition was a visual delight for the little painters and the spectators. The brilliant art blended with sensitivity on the painting sheet.
The artistic endeavours of the students were highly praised and encouraged by the faculty members present.
