Art event at an art museum

A team of four talented artists of The Indian School participated in an inter- school painting competition named Kaleidoscope, organised by HT School, in collaboration with the Kiran Nadar Museum. The competition was held on 11 May 2022 at the museum and was attended by more than 1,500 students from around 90 schools across Delhi NCR. The competition was judged by a distinguished panel of judges that comprised of Ms Bulbul Sharma, painter and author and Ms Somya Sahni, Lead, Education and Outreach Programme, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.

The competition was divided into three categories: Junior (for classes 4 to 6), Middle (for classes 7 to 9) and Senior (for classes 10 to 12).

The topics for the junior category were My Favourite Hobby and My Favourite Cartoon Character. Mother Nature as I See It and Environment and Climate Change were the topics for the middle category. The topics for the senior category included Colours of India and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The Indian School was represented by Priyanshi Sharma (VIII D), Riya Nayak (VIII E), Riya Malhotra (IX A) and Shaurya Binder (X C).

The students exuded confidence as their colourful strokes brought their thoughts and ideas to life on paper. The competition ended with a fun-filled and exciting magic show presented by magician Jatinder Singh Babbar.
